No more import — Imam Hussain Shrine continues supporting national production and to open flour mill

The Secretariat-General of the Imam Hussain Shrine announced, Thursday, the continuation of Noor EsSibtain Flour Mill project.

Project’s supervising engineer Fadhil Rezzaq said, “Khairat EsSibtain company, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Shrine, continues implementing Noor EsSibtain Flour Mill project on an area of more than 13,000 m2.”

Rezzaq added that the mill will open in the beginning of 2020.

“Approximately 90% of the whole project has so far been completed,” Rezzaq said further.

He indicated that the productive capacity of the mill is 500 tons a day, noting that this project aims to increase the productive capacity of flour in the country to abandon flour import and employ labor.
