Largest assembly for Quran female reciters to be held in Kerbela

The Quran House of the Imam Hussain Shrine has announced the beginning of the Second National Assembly for Quran Female reciters.

Shaikh Hasan Elmensoori, director of the Quran House, said, “In cooperation with Basa’er Quranic Foundation, the Quran House of the Imam Hussain Shrine has launched the Second National Assembly for Quran Female reciters, which is the largest one in Iraq, in which 250 Quran female reciters will participate.”

Elmensoori added that the Quran female reciters, coming from 10 Iraqi cities, represent the shrines and sanctuaries in Iraq.

He said further the assembly will continue for five days – three sessions will be held each day.

The assembly, Elmensoori indicated, aims to improve the skills of the Quran female reciters and support the Quranic movement in the country.

The activities of the assembly will include lectures, workshops, Qruan recitation sessions, symposiums, and talks with famous Quran female reciters, in addition to lessons on Quran memorization methods, interpretation, recitation tones, and recitation rules.
