Convoy of humanitarian aid sent to Shurqat people suffering flood damage

The Imam Hussain Shrine has sent a convoy of humanitarian aid to Shurqat District, Saladin City.

Sheikh Fahim ElIbrahimey, in-charge of the convoy, said, “Under the guidance of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, the Imam Hussain Shrine has sent a convoy of humanitarian aid to deliver 1750 baskets of food to the people of Shurqat District, who have suffered a tidal wave of flood water that swept through the district.

The Imam Hussain Shrine continues to support the Iraqis living in war-torn cities and others who suffer natural disasters.
