On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Mohammed Elbaqir “the omniscient” (Peace Be Upon Him), the Imam Hussain Shrine witnessed a large number of mourners who carried a symbolic coffin and circulated the Imam Hussain Shrine as a religious observance.
Imam Elbaqir was the fifth Imam of the Ahlul-Bayte (Peace Be Upon Them), who witnessed the battle of Ashura which ended in murdering his grandfather, Imam Hussain (Peace Be Upon Them), and his companions in 61 A.H.
