Imam Redha International University, affiliated to Imam Redha Holy Shrine, has held a celebration for the first anniversary of Iraq’s victory over ISIS terrorist organization in Mashhad, Iran.
University Dean Dr. Morteza Rajawi, said, “With the participation of Iraqi students in Iran, a huge celebration for the immortal victory of the Iraqi people against ISIS was held at the University’s Asrar Campus.”
The families of martyred fighters were appreciated and rewarded for their sons’ great sacrifices.
Former Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi declared the victory over ISIS on December 9, 2017.
